After growing up in rural Suffolk, Tamsin Green became an Archaeologist, excavating and studying remains from the past. She travelled widely & sporadically, moving as the work demanded, until she settled in Devon- after which her children were born. She began making collages, by recycling old magazines, and this quickly became an obsession. My work reflects her love of the landscape, particularly where it is most fragile. Her recent work focuses on seasonality, and the passing of time, and has become entwined with her personal quest to understand the paradox between her desire to belong and her need to roam.
