Marielle Ebner-Rijke

Marielle Ebner-Rijke

Marielle is an artist/printmaker living on the edge of Dartmoor. Her work is inspired by local wildlife, the hardy creatures inhabiting the moorland landscape and local farmsteads, and those she encounters while walking the lanes and along the banks of the river Taw. She is currently working on a series of hand coloured linocuts, a technique which she contrasts with her more monochromatic charcoal drawings. Marielle, who graduated with a degree in Fine Art, has exhibited at the SWAC Open Exhibition and Thelma Hulbert Gallery Open in 2018. She exhibits regularly at NT Castle Drogo, RHS Rosemoor and Devon Open Studios.
